Q. Why Can't I Use Email or FTP?
A. Email has several shortcomings. It is usually not secure, difficult to organize, and often has limitations with the size of documents you can exchange. FTP works only as a file transfer channel. Unless setup correctly, users will be able to see each others' documents.

A. OneView Practice™ is a hosted web-portal linked directly to your web-site. Users simply connect to OneView Practice™ via the Internet using a browser and enter information or upload documents meant for exchange.

Q. I work in a team environment. Can my entire team use OneView Practice™?

Q. I am on the road a lot. How will OneView Practice™ help me?
A. OneView Practice™ will make it even easier for you to share information with your team members quickly and securely when you are on the road. Irrespective of location, you can access OneView Practice™ (as long as you have an Internet connection and browser access). You no longer have to carry sensitive information on portable devices. Simply adding information to OneView Practice™ will help you access information from your client or other remote site.

Security and Infrastructure Questions

Q. Is my data secure?
A. We are offering you security in two ways.
  1. The application is hosted at a secure facility.
  2. Information is encrypted when being transmitted from the user to the servers using Secure Socket Layer.
The OneView Practice™ team periodically reviews security requirements and makes changes accordingly. If you have a suggestion or questions, we would love to hear about it. Please send us your suggestions, comments, or concerns at Support.
Q. How do I tell when transmission is secure?
A. When you log into OneView Practice™, you will see a small "lock" icon at the bottom of your browser display, indicating that a secure (SSL) connection has been established to our server. In addition, the URLs used to access your data on OneView Practice™ are all preceded with https rather than http.
Q. What is your privacy policy?
A. OneView Practice™ does not use any information for marketing or promotional purposes.

Q. How likely is it for the application to "go down"?
A. OneView Practice™ has built redundancy to minimize any system failures. All components of the OneView Practice™ system are monitored so that faults are detected early. However, we do realize that there may occasional outages due to reasons beyond our control. OneView Practice™ has established escalation procedures to notify all affected users should such an event occur.
Q. Can I house a backup of my OneView Practice™ data at my own company?
A. You can receive a complete download of all your data residing in OneView Practice™ by signing up for our monthly archive service. Some firms may periodically "clean" their uploaded information to save disk space as to well as keep only what is necessary online.
Q. How scalable is OneView Practice™?
A. OneView Practice™ is designed to handle thousands of users. When we see performance degradation, we are ready to add hardware or systems that will ensure an excellent user experience.

How Can I Get Started?

Q. Is there any hardware or software required for using OneView Practice™?
A. No. All you require is a computer with Internet access and a web-browser. OneView Practice™ works best with Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher. It also runs under Fire Fox 1.6 or greater.
Q. Is training required for using OneView Practice™?
A. OneView Practice™ is designed for ease of use and many users have no difficulty in getting started soon. Furthermore, online help is available at every step to make the learning easy. Nonetheless, we recommend some training so that you can get the most out of the application.
Q. Is training available if I need it?
A. While training is not required, we offer free training. The sessions run less than one hour and cover typical usage by a Client. The sessions are held through the Internet, conveniently allowing you to participate right from your office. Please contact Support for further details.
Q. What involvement is required by my company's IT department?
A. None. OneView Practice™ applications are accessed through the Internet via a Web browser and require no modifications or upgrades to your existing environment. All you need is Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 6.0 or higher) and you are ready to use OneView Practice™. Because there is no hardware, software, or network equipment to purchase, and the application is accessed through a standard Web browser, your IT department will not be required to maintain any software or hardware components.
Q. How quickly can my Clients be up and running?
A. Your clients screens are even simpler than your staff screens. Most computer-savvy clients should have little difficulty using the application.
